10 Months!

Another month has come and gone. Sigh. Now there are only two months left until my little baby turns 1 (surprised at my amazing math skills?). He still isn't walking yet, but we're almost there. On Monday, he took one step and then yesterday he took another step! The past month has brought lots of little developments:

-Last Friday he discovered clapping!

-He is completely destroying his crib by chewing on it (Casey found him with a wood stain ringed mouth yesterday)

-He still loves sweet potatoes, strawberry yogurt, citrus fruits, and snacks.

-He has started eating a few "table" foods (such as pancakes, more fresh fruits, a little bit of chicken)

-He has 6 teeth with two more currently making their way in (the past few days have been rife with crying and whining)

-Almost walking!! He walks really well while holding onto his car or someone's hands.

-Loves to ride in the swing at the park behind our house. He also loves the slide and tries to crawl back up it.

-He dances a little when music plays on his "Learn and Groove" table.

-He gave up the pacifier last weekend! He's doing alright - it's a little hard for him to soothe himself sometimes, but we wanted to give up the paci before his first birthday!

-He can stand on his own for almost a minute at a time!

-Shakes his head when you tell him "no"
