Laughing....
Here's a cute video of Peyton responding to my fake laugh (I kind of think he's fake laughing too!)

Stairs...
Sooooo......Peyton is now climbing up the stairs. Sigh. I'm happy that he's progressing quickly and he is obviously thriving, *but* we now have to keep an even closer eye on him! The crawling, pulling up, and now stair-climbing makes it very hard to get anything done in this house!!

I am stuffed...
I took Peyton to the doctor today to get his eye checked out and he got a clean bill of health. The Dr. gave me a Rx just in case but told me the best course of action would be to just wait it out. Peyton got weighed while he was there and weighed in at 16 lbs, 7 ounces. He's still a skinny minnie, but at least he's gaining!

Swimsuit!
Peyton has now been to 4 swimming classes! Class is going really well - Peyton loves being in the pool and I like to think that he looks forward to class. Some of the things they do in class are geared towards the older kids, but he still enjoys splashing and kicking around in the pool. We had a little bit of a rough day today (he seems to be getting another cold), but he still enjoyed himself for the most part.

Being goofy...
I feel like 95% of my blog posts are photos of Peyton being super goofy....but I guess that's what he does best.

Playing with my workbench (and a swim update!)
One of Peyton's favorite toys right now is a workbench we bought with Great-Grandma and Grandpa's Target gift card that P got for Christmas.
Peyton has 2 swimming lessons under his belt now and he is LOVING it! The class is kind of goofy (we sing songs and blow bubbles - 2 things that a 7 month old doesn't really participate in) but he loves being in the water. Peyton is the youngest in the class (the class is for 6 months to 3 years) but he's actually bigger than the next closest babies (an 11 month old and 14 month old). I'll have to post a photo of him in his swim trunks soon....
