Some photos from the past few days...

First off, let me explain this upcoming photo. I took part in a Photography Web Seminar on Monday and Tuesday, so I tried to pay attention to the speakers and take care of Peyton at the same time. I decided to change his diaper downstairs (I was watching the webinar from my laptop in our living room) but I realized that I didn't have any diapers in my diaper bag as soon as I got his dirty diaper off! I scurried upstairs to grab one and when I made it back downstairs, I found him like this.....his little bum resting on our rug.

Surprise!

Our little guy is walking (as of yesterday afternoon)! He went from just being able to take one or two steps to walking in one day!

I knew my little rock star would be walking before he was a year old!

11 month weight check.

I forgot to add Peyton's new stats from our Doctors visit this past week (the doc wanted us to come in just to check his weight to make sure he was gaining). I also forgot to do a 11 months post, but I'm exhausted.

Weight: 19 lbs, 14 ounces (still hasn't broken that 20 lb. mark!)

Height: 30 inches

Peyton has risen from the 6th percentile for weight to the 16th. Woo hoo!

Starbucks trip!

Yesterday, we went to Starbucks as a family to get some coffee (shocked?) and relax. Peanut was his usual jovial self, so I snapped some photos of him (yes, I did carry my 5 lb. camera in my diaper bag....)

I love that he squints when he smiles - seems like such an adult thing to do.

Wagon!

We borrowed a wagon from a friend for Pete & Amber's wedding so yesterday we took it out for a little walk.....

Pete & Amber's Pre-Wedding BBQ

On Friday night we attended a pre-wedding celebration for our good friends, Pete & Amber. We ate some delicious burgers, potato salad, and brownies (Pete even got an entire liter of Dr. Pepper for me. Good man!) and enjoyed the beautiful weather. P got to crawl around the grass and be entertained by Emily.

He is finally able to drink from his sippy cup without making too big of a mess!
